| "Viva Las Vegas" was Elvis' 15th movie release, although of course it was filmed before, but released after "Kissin' Cousins". |
| In some countries, like the United Kingdom, the movie and soundtrack of 'Viva Las Vegas' is called 'Love In Las Vegas'. |
| There have been four different pressings of this CD released by FTD, two in 2003 and two in 2014. FTD released also a 2-LP in 2010 and in 2018 a 3-CD 8" boxset. |
| In November 2010 'Viva Las Vegas' was released as a double LP by FTD, which contained take 2 of 'If You Think I Don't Need You' and take 2 of 'The Lady Love Me' which are only available on that vinyl edition. |
| In August 2018 FTD released a new cd version of 'Viva Las Vegas', this time as a 3-CD boxset in a 8"x8" slipcase. It includes more than an hour of previously unreleased false starts, break downs, and complete takes! All tracks have been recently remixed and mastered from the original 3-track session tapes. The slipcase replicates an original Session Reel box. |
| On the first pressing in 2003 the barcode was missing on the back cover. That is corrected on the second pressing. |
| In 2014, on the third pressing the barcode was incomplete. The first "8" is missing. That is corrected on the fourth pressing. |
| Errors on the both 2014 pressings: On the back is printed "BMG Denmark 2003", altough the company is SONY and released in 2014. On the disc is printed "(RPKB-0309)", below the text "Side 1", that should be "(RPKB-0390)". The wrong recording dates are listed on the back cover as being July 7-9 1963 instead of July 9-11 1963. |
