For the first time since Wild in the Country, neither an LP album, nor an extended play single was planned for the "Stay Away, Joe" soundtrack.
The song "Stay Away", that was not used in the film, would appear as the b-side to "U.S. Male" (RCA Victor 47-9465).
Although released before "Speedway", the "Stay Away, Joe" film and its soundtrack were made after.
