*1) The master take number of "I'm Leavin'" is not known, as the tape (reel #2) from that session is missing,
and would have included the last takes of "I'm Leavin'. |

For the new master on this FTD release, they created a completely new splice. Again, it's mainly take 4, but they have now used a splice from
"... that I'm living for, hold me and kiss me, and tell me you're mine ever more" from take 3. |
|
*4) The rhythmn track of "Don't Cry Daddy" was recorded on January 15, with the track master being take 3.
Elvis then recorded vocals to this backing track on January 22, along with two harmony vocal overdubs. The first harmony vocal (VO1)
was only on the second chores, but an additional harmony vocal (VO2) was overdubbed to the first chores too for the final vocal master. |
|
*5) "My Boy" was edited for original release by RCA by looping the ending of the song. |

With Elvis' original vocals and backup vocal overdubs then being removed from the multi-track track
