Sessions were held in January, February, October and November 1980 for these re-recordings and were produced by Felton Jarvis, who had been Elvis' record producer since 1966.
"Guitar Man" and "Faded Love" were released as single in December 1980.
"Lovin' Arms" and "You Asked Me To" were released as single in March 1981.
Tracks 3 to 12 were all released in January 1981 on the album "Guitar Man".
